Choosing Flooring for Your Home
It’s no big secret that the type of flooring in your home can have a huge impact on the overall look and feel of your space. So, picking your flooring is a big decision; it’s normal to feel under pressure and be concerned about not getting it quite right.
That’s where the team at GOFLOORIT can help! We work with customers throughout Northamptonshire-West as well as surrounding areas such as MK and parts of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire too. We ensure our customers pick the best type of flooring for their application/project.
We want to make sure you find the perfect flooring, so we ask you questions about your space, the size of the room, and what it will be used for. We can then guide you through all the different types of flooring we have available and advise you on what will work best from both a visual and practical point of view.

Types of Flooring
There are so many different types of flooring available that can be used within your home. The best thing to do if you’re considering investing in flooring is to pop into our showroom in Towcester. That way, you not only get to speak to our team but also see the samples we have available and get a real feel for them!
Our flooring is split into two main types: hard flooring and carpet. These segments are then split down again. Most of our customers know if they would prefer hard flooring or carpet before they come to us.
Types of Hard Flooring
At GOFLOORIT, we have several types of hard flooring available, such as;
Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) - Luxury Vinyl Tiles offer a high-end look with the durability and water resistance of vinyl, making them ideal for areas like kitchens and bathrooms. We can offer a variety of designs, some of which mimic natural materials such as wood or stone without the maintenance issues of these raw materials.
Click Fit - Click Fit flooring features an innovative interlocking design that makes installation quick and easy. This type of hard flooring is highly durable and provides a seamless finish and a firm, stable surface.
Vinyl Sheet - Vinyl Sheet flooring comes in large, continuous rolls, making it a great option for larger rooms as well as small spaces. It is highly resistant to moisture and stains, and many of our customers choose this option for their bathrooms or kitchens.
Engineered Wood - Engineered Wood flooring consists of a real wood veneer on top of a plywood core, offering the beauty of hardwood with added stability and resistance to moisture. This flooring is a great option for areas with fluctuating temperatures or humidity, as it’s less prone to expansion or contraction than solid wood.
Laminate Flooring - Laminate flooring features a composite wood base topped with a photographic layer that mimics the appearance of wood, stone, or other materials. Laminate flooring is known for its durability and ease of maintenance, making it a budget-friendly alternative to natural wood floors and is often used in kitchens and living areas.
Types of Carpet
For a more comforting and homely feel, you may be considering carpets. We have a very wide selection of carpets. Here are some of the brands that we offer.
Victoria Carpets - Victoria Carpets are high-quality carpets renowned for their luxurious feel and durable performance. This extensive collection caters to both traditional and contemporary interior styles, so they’re flexible for homes.
Cormar Carpets - Cormar Carpet provides a wide range of wool and synthetic blends that ensure both comfort and longevity. With a reputation for quality, Cormar carpets come in various textures and colours, making them a versatile choice for any room in your home.
Abingdon Carpets - Abingdon Carpets provide a great balance of style, comfort, and value, with a broad selection of plush and durable flooring options. Their carpets are often made from soft, hard-wearing fibres, making them ideal for busy households and high-traffic areas.
Ulster Carpets - Ulster Carpets is a leading British manufacturer that offers premium-quality carpets with exceptional design and craftsmanship. These luxurious wool carpets are available in a wide range of patterns, colours, and textures that suit both traditional and modern home interiors.
Penthouse Carpets - Penthouse Carpets are high-end carpets known for their softness, durability, and luxurious feel. This collection features both natural fibres like wool and synthetic options, designed to complement both classic and contemporary home decor.
