Installation – unlike the hardwood floor, click fit, albeit it is easy to install. We recommend that the subfloor/substrate is as flat and true as possible to ensure long-term robustness. Screeding or a similar smoothing/self-levelling compound, in most cases, can provide a durable starting point or even a 5.5mm plyboard again to help ensure a flat and smooth surface. NO additional underlay should ever be used as this will add stress to the product, which could snap and separate over time. Some of our clients choose to install it themselves, although we would always recommend leaving it to the experts. The flooring pieces click together using the groove around the edge. This makes installation and clean-up simple and doesn't require any glue, nails or other adhesives.
