GoFloorIt.co.uk is an online retailer of solid hardwood flooring. All our products are sourced from sustainable, managed forests around the world, ensuring sound business practice and an ethical means with which to provide an outstanding and highly sought after product.
The team behind GoFloorIt.co.uk collectively have over 25 years of experience in the hardwood flooring industry. This expertise, and an in depth market knowledge, is combined with our long term relationships with manufacturers throughout Europe, Asia and The Americas. Confident in both the quality and sustainability of our products, we are also dedicated to providing the lowest possible prices to our customers.
How do we do it?
We buy direct from
manufacturers around the world. We do not use buying agents or other
middle men. Due to the large quantities of timber we purchase (we buy in
bulk) we are able to pass our savings onto our customers. Put simply – the
more we buy, the more you save.
How can our prices be so low for the same or similar product?
We retail
exclusively online. This cuts out overheads that would typically have to be
built into the price of the product. With no showroom, we have no expensive
high street premises, no large utility bills, no costly interior design, no
sales assistance commission to pay, and very few administrative costs.
How similar will my product be to one I have seen elsewhere?
When purchasing a
hardwood floor, it is important to remember that trees are a natural
resource and as such, any hardwood flooring manufacturer or supplier is
relying on the same resources as the next – trees. To put it more simply, an
oak floor is an oak floor, as it must come from an oak tree. It is accepted
that the natural variation within wooden floors means that no two floors
will be identical. Indeed the pattern, colour and grain variation within
wood is what will make your floor unique. It is important, however, to check
that the grading of the product is consistent and accurate and you compare
like with like. It is then safe to assume that the overall effect of each
floor will be the same.
